Inside-Out Office Aesthetics

Nicolas Laisné Architectes & Dimitri Roussel Produce a Unique Design

The office aesthetic of this building in Nice is truly compelling and one-of-a-kind. The structure has been conceived through a collaboration between Nicolas Laisné Architectes and Dimitri Roussel who reversed the traditional appearance of a building, boasting an inside-out topography.

The intent behind this well-curated office aesthetic is wholesome. The designers attempted to increase employee wellbeing through architectural methods by allowing "the building [to be] completely open to its environment." As a result, the facade features various staircases, inserts of vegetation and ample outdoor room that will allow workers to complete their daily job duties out in the open.

A labyrinth of interlocking staircases, the office aesthetic also lends itself to a rather minimalist character in terms of ornamental details.
