Australian designer Brodie Neill introduces a new collection of luxury furniture for Sotheby's London auction house using the notable Ocean Terazzo material. This sustainable approach uses material that is made from ocean plastic, circular metals, as well as reclaimed timbers.
There are nine pieces that make up the collection and the designer states that collectively, the range represents "over a decade of design research into material circularity and the redefining of waste." The limited-edition collection has two tables -- one of which is named the Flotsam and the second is named the Jetsam. The Jetsam is a green triangle-shaped dining table and the Florsam is designed in a blue hue with visible microplastic fragments on a black base.
