Created through collaboration between Lassonde Industries and Tetra Pak, the juice carton features a paper straw that can be easily used with the accompanying container. This makes the entire product packaging recyclable instead of just the carton to further enhance the eco profile of the design.
Speaking on the Oasis juice cartons, Chief Operating Officer at Lassonde Industries Jean Gattuso said, "In the past few months, we have committed to finding sustainable solutions for making our containers more eco-responsible. This initiative is a first step in that direction. Lassonde is the first North American juice manufacturer to test paper straws for this type of container, a food packaging innovation."
