Shadowed Dancing Editorials

The Numéro #146 September 2013 Editorial is Stunningly Dark

The Numéro #146 September 2013 editorial paired both the light and dark side of couture, and created a gorgeous spread.

This shoot showcased two models who were competing for space during the spread. One was put in incredible dresses by Marc Jacobs, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. The other model was dressed in head to toe black and mimicked the movements of the first model.

That duality between both models was what made this shoot interesting. It appeared as though they were dancing, and the shadowed model did an amazing job of following every move. The background was a desert setting, and the sun made the shade believable.

The Numéro #146 September 2013 editorial did an incredible job of creating a stunning spread that used a dark optical illusion.
