North of Brooklyn, a Toronto pizzeria, is jumping on Canadians' interest in the upcoming US presidential election. Disheartened that Canadians won't actually get to vote in the election themselves, North of Brooklyn's 'Give Canada the Vote' campaign is a way to let Canucks jump in on the action.
For Give Canada the Vote, North of Brooklyn introduced two new pizzas to their menu: The Hillary and The Donald. From October 17th until November 1st, the restaurant will keep track of the amount of purchases for each pie. Then, "an anonymous dual-citizen will be donating their vote in the upcoming presidential election -- to Canada," according to North of Brooklyn's website.
The themed pizzas are in themselves funny, with The Donald featuring orange cheese and jalapeños (not from Mexico) and The Hillary made with ingredients that are partly redacted.
