Delicacies Jewelry recently teamed up with Italian food company Barilla to create a noodle necklace collection called 'Al Dente.'
In all, there are six pasta-shaped pendants in the collection, including ones that look just like pieces of bow tie-like Farfalle, Penne Rigate and Rotini. Each piece is rhodium plated and affixed to a delicate sterling silver curb chain. With each product, Barilla and Delicacies Jewelry describe the traits of each noodle; Penne Rigate is said to promote "passion, focus, and creativity."
As well as offering pasta lovers a fun way to show off their love of noodles, a purchase from the Al Dente collection provides 20 meals to help feed the hungry through organizations such as the Food Bank for New York City, Share Our Strength, No Kid Hungry and New York’s City Harvest.
