The Nol Card was introduced in 2009 as an electronic ticketing card for all modes of public transport services across Dubai. Since that time, the card has also come to be more than just a useful tool for paying for taxis and buses. Last year, Nol also became a prepaid card that could be used for making a variety of retail purchases at thousands of outlets.
Now, Nol is adding yet another feature for cardholders with a new loyalty program called nol+. Those who use the card to pay for public transit, parking spots, public park visits or entrance to the Etihad Museum will be able to collect points that may be redeemed for coupon vouchers at cafes, restaurants and entertainment centers.
