The Nokia N90 by Viet Doan Duc Reimagines a Vintage Design

Designer Viet Doan Duc created the Nokia N90 phone concept that celebrates the physical design of mobile phones from previous eras. It flips open and unveils a larger screen with an additional T9 keypad inside. The top half of the phone can also twist around and work as a camcorder.

The Nokia N90 has a clear glass design and it highlights three main concepts. This includes mechanical precision, the spirit of exploration, and minimalist language. The mechanical part of the phone is highlighted in the industrial aesthetic that showcases the precise circuit and clear sides with minimal application. In terms of technicalities, the keypad has an E Ink display for a sustainable and custom touch to the phone.
