Plan Plan Designs the New Nin Hao Restaurant in Brooklyn

New York design studio Plan Plan is the creative team behind the new interior design of the Nin Hao restaurant nestled in Brooklyn. It is a Chinese restaurant serving up Fujianese cuisine and the space is defined by tall ceilings and large dynamic windows that allow light to flow into the space seamlessly. It is designed with 16-foot ceilings and large glass curtain walls.

The studio added clear Austrian curtains to the space with the goal of softening the harsh light that enters through the glazing. The team shares, "This filtered light, in turn, reflects off the polycarbonate-panelled wall on the opposite side, diffusing throughout the space and contributing to an atmosphere that feels airy, bright, and ever-changing."
