Nike Face Shields are Being Produced to Fight COVID-19

In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic brands are stepping up to offer their resources to help in whatever way necessary -- the latest example of this comes from Nike, as the sportswear label has teamed up with Oregon Health & Science University to produce Nike face shields for medical professionals.

In an interview with Business Insider, Nike's CEO John Donahoe said that "companies like Nike need to do [their] part" on that note, the brand's efforts will be added to its $7 billion USD donation that hope to fuel the fight against COVID-19 in Oregon, the brand's headquarters. As part of its efforts, Nike will be helping to produce face shields which can be worn overtop of masks, and other medical gear.
