The New York Lottery Mother's Day ad campaign takes a hilarious retro spin and adds a big dose of geekiness to celebrate the upcoming holiday. It addresses a deep-seeded desire for some men to once again become their mom's favorite. This can be easily achieved with a big jackpot of money. As though straight out of the seventies, two grown men are once again being coddled by their mamas.
Conceived and executed by the DDB ad agency branch based in New York, the New York Lottery Mother's Day ad campaign was art directed by Rodrigo de Castro with creative direction by Mike Sullivan. The hilarious images were shot by photographer Matt Hoyle while copywriter Joao Unzer came up with the accompanying slogan. The images were retouched by John Cason and Terry Sanders.
