Netgear is launching more affordable iterations of the flagship Orbi and Nighthawk router devices. The Orbi 770 system starts at $700 and it supports Wi-Fi 7 with 100 simultaneous devices connected all at once. Notably, a three-pack of the system covers up to 8,000 square feet with the pair of 2.5Gb LAN ports that are meant for wired connections such as gaming consoles or other shared storage systems.
The external design boasts a cylindrical shape with a slim structure so that it can fit in any space seamlessly. The company notes that the system will work "regardless of the home layout, from the front door to the backyard." The Nighthawk RS300 is a standalone router that speeds up to 9.3Gbps and has a new omnidirectional internal antenna covering 2,500 square feet of coverage of 100 devices as well.
