Spotify has announced the launch of a designated 'Netflix Hub' feature that provides users access to exclusive content related to the video streamers' popular titles. These will include show and film-specific soundtracks, curated playlists, podcasts, and more.
Currently, the new feature is being offered to both free and premium Spotify users in the U.S., Canada, the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, and India. Standout offering within the hub includes official playlists for Money Heist, Bridgerton, and On My Block, and official soundtracks for shows such as Cowboy Bebop and Squid Game.
"Within two weeks of Squid Game’s debut on Netflix, Spotify listeners had created more than 22,500 unique themed playlists to keep the experience going," wrote Spotify in a recent blog post, which detailed the company's reason for developing the new feature.
