Industrial design consultancy Morrama recently debuted the world's first ultrasonic shisha. Dubbed Nesta U-Shisha, the new offering was created to be a less harmful alternative to traditional hookah. The device leverages aerosolizing pharma-grade nicotine and turns it into a cool mist. This removes the dangers of inhaling traditional shisha and e-shisha and ensures that there are no dangerous chemicals or heavy metals.
Jo Barnard, founder and creative director of Morrama, comments, "With over 100 million shisha smokers worldwide, we were thrilled to be appointed as the design partner by Medad Technology for this project. We have been working with visionary CTO, Professor Imad Lahoud and his dedicated team to transform his vision into reality. Whilst vapes have been widely promoted as a positive alternative to smoking tobacco, the heat from the coil causes heavy metals to be released into the vapour, causing many to question their true benefits."
