Natura Used Nespresso Coffee Capsules for Ekos Castanha Tubes

For National Aluminum Recycling Day, Brazil beauty brand Natura teamed up with Nestlé to recycle the aluminum from used Nespresso coffee capsules into packaging for the best-selling Ekos Castanha range. The first batch of hand moisturizers features packaging made with 100% recycled aluminum, 10% of which consists of Nespresso capsules.

Thanks to this partnership between Natura and Nestlé, Natura customers can return empty Natura Ekos aluminum tubes at the 34 Nespresso boutiques across Brazil to ensure the recycled aluminum coffee pods can be properly disposed of. Additionally, Nestlé has hundreds of other collection points in Brazil, so aluminum product packaging can be given a new purpose. Collected tubes and capsules will be sent to the Nespresso recycling center in Osasco, in São Paulo, Brazil.
