Nano-Tattoos Make Check-Ups and Doctor Visits Much Easier

If you or your doctor ever need to track blood-oxygen levels, there may soon be an iPhone app to check them for you, thanks to the efforts of Dr. Heather Clark and her nano-tattoos.

Adding functionality to body art, researchers at Northeastern University have developed a nano-particle solution which, when injected into the skin and scanned by an iPhone, can reveal the inner workings of your body. Based on how the nano-particles behave, an athlete can determine his sodium levels and the likelihood of dehydration mid-game. Within seconds, the blood-oxygen content of an anemic patient could be analyzed by a doctor or nurse.

Over time, one has come to discover the utility of measuring, checking and analyzing one's body on a regular basis -- it's the best way to stay healthy! So the next time you see an awful, ugly tattoo, think twice because it may be the key to that person's life!
