Gorilla Masked Models

The Bronx Zoo Drawing Classes

This is most strange.

Every Saturday, La Cita Bar in Los Angeles hosts an ongoing event called, “The Bronx Zoo.” Here you get to drink, express yourself and see naked ladies all in one package.

All are invited to sketch nearly nude female models who protect their modesty with gorilla masks. The resulting drawings will be displayed at Ghettogloss for three weeks beginning November 14.

Brilliant, I LOVE it :-)

Implications - "The Bronx Zoo" drawing classes are definitely a unique event that does not occur all the time. The masks on the nude female models work to challenge what the viewer thinks about female nudity. What are your thoughts on this very peculiar piece?
