Apiwat "Peet" Anuntrachartwong created this conceptual project that is essentially a musical vibration collar that can be used by the hearing impaired. This device is called Corus, and it is shaped like the letter 'C' so that it can be worn around the neck.
Corus will create musical vibrations by connecting to Bluetooth or through an headphone outlet. This device easily translates music into vibrations that can be appreciated by those with or without impaired hearing.
The name Corus is a hybrid of the words 'core' and 'chorus' in order to represent both the vibrations and the rhythmic song structures that are conveyed. Providing those who are hearing impaired with the option to enjoy music during commutes and daily activities is the ultimate goal for this project.
