The Mush Lamp by Claudia Garay of Garay Studio, a design firm based in Madrid, Spain, is clearly inspired by one thing and one thing only: mushrooms. If the name wasn't a dead giveaway, than the form would have been. Granted, it is a rather minimalist design. Yet the organic lampshade and thick stand easily recalls the shape of such common fungi. By adopting a simple aesthetic, the light fixture becomes much more versatile for various existing home decor.
Available in three colors (black, white and brown) as well as two finishes (matte or speckled), the Mush Lamp by Claudia Garay is made out of ceramic and natural beech wood. The cordless design is also dimmable, which helps it shed a slew of different mood lighting.
