The moon is a mysterious place that ignites imagination, exploration and adventure, all of which I'm sure the Mostip Shoe Shop represents as well. A retail space in a Japanese shopping mall, the design mimics the cratered surface of the moon, upon which the shoes are displayed.
Conceived by Japanese studio EASTERN design office, the Mostip Shoe Shop also cleverly pays tribute to the late King of Pop: As Plus Mood observes, the shoes placed on the moon symbolizes "an invisible man enjoying a moonwalk."
