This uniquely designed moon lamp was created by designer Oscar Lhermitte and the London-based studio Kudo.
The moonlight lamp, titled 'MOON,' is essentially an imitation of the real thing. Made to scale based on data from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, the MOON light features the same craters and ridges that can be seen on the moon as seen from Earth. LED lights revolve around the model, which casts light upon its surface while mimicking the lunar phases of the moon. It operates in 3 different modes, including a live-action phase that shows the current observable phase of the moon.
This extremely unique moon lamp is not only perfect for astronomy lovers, but anyone who enjoys unique and beautiful household items.
