'Monsters Abroad' is a photo blog featuring the art of the imaginative Colin Greenhalgh. This photo blog features old American postcards that Greenhalgh has improved upon by adding monsters.
Each postcard has its own monster added to it, along with a little story that explains why a giant bird is about to fly away with a tour bus or what brought a giant robot to the coast of California. Greenhalgh is an as-of-now unemployed game artist who started 'Monsters Abroad' as a passion project. He accepts donations for his work with those who donate over three dollars receiving their own postcard.
I'm a huge fan of quirky art like this. It is original, simple and fun, which is exactly what art should be. Check out a few of Colin Greenhalgh's 'Monsters Abroad' here.
