BMX bike manufacturer Mongoose has announced that it will be resurrecting the 1980s 'Supergoose' and 'California Special' models.
According to the company, the revived 'Super Goose' is a near-perfect replica of the 1984 original. The sports-focused bike comes equipped with a loop-tail frame, 'Pro Class' rims and handlebars, 4130 Chromoly tubing, and 'Dia-Compe MX' brakes. Aesthetically, the bike oozes 80s nostalgia, presenting a bright blue and yellow colorway on the tires, padding, seat, and handlebars.
Those looking for a larger framed BMX may prefer the 'California Special' model, which closely mirrors the original bike first released in 1983. This BMX is built using robust Hi-Ten steel construction and comes with 'Pro Series' handlebars, and brightly colored "snake belly" tires.
