In Gojo, Japan this house is known as the MON Factory/House.
Designed by Eastern Design Office (a group of Japanese architects), this dwelling has 26 holes along the facade and down the side of the building.
The Mon Factory/House is a single story that includes a workshop, living room and bedroom with two courtyards in between. Interestingly, the house is elevated so that a car may park underneath.
Implications - The holes in the building let a natural light shine in that will move with the sun. There are circular shapes of light that can be seen in different areas of the living space. If there are clouds in the sky, the lights will appear and reappear throughout the day.
