The Swarm modular table design by student Natalie Goldfinger of the Florence Institute of Design International takes inspiration from nature and the beauty of natural movement. Just as bees cluster together in swarms, these tables can be grouped together to form shapes that are far more interesting than the average square or rectangular table.
The flat surfaces of the tables can be used for dining, working or even as serving trays, since some of the pieces are designed to pop out from the main tabletop. Although there are many students who aren't lucky enough to see their design ideas come to life, Goldfinger's Swarm Table design was produced by a Florentine artist in a limited number of pieces.
