Czech studio Chybik + Kristof designs a third modular pop-up marketplace for Manifesto Market, a hospitality brand. Located in Prague's Andel district, the versatile structure features eye-catching pastel-blue scaffolding and is specifically designed to be easily modified, disassembled, and relocated. The structure also features wooden decking, seating, lights, signage, speakers, a small courtyard, a swimming pool, and a series of corrugated metal kiosks. Chybik + Kristof tied these components to "typology, specific to Prague's urban fabric." The goal of these marketplace activations is to ignite a sense of community in a neglected site.
It was important for Chybik + Kristof to minimize the ecological impact of this project. Hence, the studio relied heavily on "reusing and adapting materials from the previous iteration [of the modular pop-up marketplace]"
