Interactive Modular Pavilions

This Pavilion Called 'Belong. Here. Now’ in Miami Was Made by Airbnb

The annual Design Miami event has spawned a new interactive modular pavilion by Airbnb called 'Belong.Here.Now.' The area will serve as an open space that allows visitors to move around its components as they wish. The modular pavilion will also be in close proximity to creatives who will be taking up residency for the design event.

Aesthetically, the display takes advantage of traditional architectural elements and familiar motifs. Through its modularity, visitors will be able to leave their mark using the block-like figures. Each figure begins as a primitive shape, like a triangle, square or circle, but when combined, provide an infinite amount of possible shapes. Through this modular pavilion, Airbnb hopes to reflect its brand as a place where storytelling and physical space come together.
