Pedevilla Architekten's latest residential project is a modern vacation house located in Italy's Lake Garda region. Completed last year, the residence embraces minimalist design ideals and is accented with simple glass, metal and stone finishes. While the home's exterior is a marriage of glass cladding and structural stone -- a style that is monumental in its overall look and feel -- its interior is more inviting and open, letting an abundance of natural light in.
Though featuring a large and open plan, the home's interior is actually limited to a kitchen, dining room and living room hybrid space. The bare and minimal interior features a dining set that overlooks its stunning backyard, a linear kitchen cabinet and island combination and cushioned window seats that act as its sofa and bed substitutes.
