For Open Lab magazine's Fall Winter 2011 issue, the editorial 'Modern Myth' by Masha Mel focuses on what looks to be a story of a lonely prince.
The model is named Lyden, of Storm models, and with his shoulder length, jet-black, poker-straight hair and princely bone structure, he definitely looks like an old-world monarch. The fashion showcased is classic, simple and often subdued, displaying styles including a simple white turtelenck, black button-up and a softly printed crew neck sweater. In one shot, Lyden is shown wearing a gold, bejeweled headband-crown and a handful of stately rings.
Modern Myth by Masha Mel features hair by Kota Suizi and makeup by Adam Burrel. The fashion director for the shoot was Nickque Patterson, who received help from fashion assistants Amber Lu and Miguel Santos.
