SOPHNET. works in collaboration with contemporary artist Takashi Murakami on a new mod coat design as a part of the continued ROPPONGI HILLS TAKASHI MURAKAMI PROJECT. The theme that fuels the jacket follows the concept of "connecting hope for the future through art."
The first step of the project is a large sculpture that is found at 66 Plaza, with another statue to follow at the opening of the Flower Cafe. The duo launch a limited number of mod coats and it boasts the iconic floral motif by Murakami. The back of the jacket features a contemporary silhouette of the M-65 emblem and the cut gives wearers an oversized fit. It comes in two color options of either black or olive green.
