The Ritz-Carlton mobile hotel app has now been beefed up to respond to real-time service, food and drink requests. Rather than calling the front desk, with this app it's easy to request fresh towels, in-room dining and poolside service.
The app can also be used to check in, as guests will receive a notification when their room has been prepared. As well, guests may check out using the app, since they can choose to receive their bill by email. Over the duration of a stay at a Ritz-Carlton hotel, guests are also able to track their expenses and view bills so that they can keep tabs on their spending.
As of October, the app will integrate a new feature called 'Travel Poster,' which will help guests create their own retro-style photos with filters, captions and stamps.
