Cadillac Fairview's Toronto Eaton Centre launched it's first-ever mobile closet last month in celebration of a mass expansion that will include 23 added stores. In addition to being an iconic landmark for local residents and tourists, the Toronto Eaton Centre is a retail innovation hub that is always pushing to elevate the experience of its visitors.
Next to being one of the first to adapt beacon technology in Canada, the shopping centre is targeting millennials more effectively than most competitors. "The retail landscape is highly competitive and our shoppers are incredibly savvy. We know they will be thrilled with our focus on anticipating their needs and bringing the right brands to the property," said Sheila Jennings, General Manager, Retail, CF Toronto Eaton Centre.
In collaboration with world-renowned stylist Elizabeth Cabral, Cadillac Fairview's mobile closet ws set-up on-board a TTC streetcar. After an exclusive media preview, everyday commuters got to check out the interactive installation. Recognizing the retail industry's recent shift to accessible fashion -- from online retail to the prevalence of branded pop-ups -- Cadillac Fairview's stunt instantly made the daily commutes of Torontonians more memorable. "The Mobile Closet is like having your own personal editor to help navigate the fall season’s trends, delivering the hottest looks straight to consumer. I’m thrilled to be working with so many leading retailers to execute this concept," said Elizabeth Cabral of her involvement in the project.
