Graphic designer and illustrator Jorge Vargas created a series of mixed video games that introduces iconic characters from other games and TV series to world of Nintendo. For his series of 'Video Game Mash-Ups,' Pikachu tries on Megaman's suit and an angry glare, Princess Peach plays Sakura in Street Fighter and Toad turns to the dark side as one of the fire-spitting Piranha Plants from Super Mario Bros.
Sometimes characters from different games do get to mingle with one another, like Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog, but they rarely get to switch up their trademark outfits, let alone swap clothes. The series is gorgeously drawn and it serves as a pretty good representation of what it might be like if these characters went to a big video game convention themselves.
