Minimalist Video Game Art

These Games for Gabe Art Pieces Look Right Out of Dark Morning Cartoons

This minimalist video game art looks like something right out a of dark version of popular silly cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory or the Powerpuff Girls.

These minimalist video game art creations were put together by artist Nick Stokes, who has no relation to the popular character from the CSI television series. The beautifully simple images are homages to popular game series BioShock, Half-Life and Borderlands, respectively.

Stokes made the incredible minimalist video game art as a birthday present for his brother's sweet 16, which is a heck of a great gift for any gamer out there, especially one who is a fan of the series depicted in Stokes' artwork. I especially loved the irony of the cartoon-y depictions of the incredibly violent and gory titles that inspired the posters in the first place.
