Outdoor lamps have never looked more chic thanks to Ipnos, a minimalist geometric lighting. It is a stunning example of moving away from traditional forms to create products that could function virtually as anything. Whether mistaken for a work of sculptural art or as another type of furniture, the light fixture is a great conversation piece to have around the house.
Designed by Guido Bianchi and Nicoletta Rossi, a creative duo based in Milan Italy, for FLOS, the minimalist geometric lighting is made for both indoor and outdoor use. Made out of thin, anodized aluminum poles, the upper parts encase LED lights. Shedding a mysterious glow since the light source is so deceptive, minimalist geometric lighting is available in three finishes: anodized natural, black or copper. In all, it is a classy lamp.
