This Milanese Park Has Been Converted Into a Life-Sized Board Game

Venerated Italian design practice Carlo Ratti Associatti has rung in the ongoing Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano by converting an iconic Milanese park into a life-sized board game. The 'Walk the Talk' project, based in Mlan's Botanical Garden, has therefore been transformed into a board game wherein visitors can explore different pathways, read information on the tiles and learn about eco-friendly practices such as cycling and ridesharing.

The 'Walk the Talk' experience depicts various landmarks around the city of Milan, with a total of over 400 tiles and 32 varieties of icons distributed across a space of 3,500 square meters.

Developed as part of the 'Interni Re-evolution' exhibition, this thought-provoking transformation of a famous Milanese park speaks to the utility of engaging and immersive experiences in transforming urban behaviour choices.
