The Mika 'Make You Happy' piece is a well put together hipster love story video from his upcoming album 'The Origin of Love.'
This video is complete with fireworks, christmas lights, smoking cigarettes, underground house parties and animal masks. It follows the very different lives of various couples spending time together, gazing into each other's eyes, flirting, starting shenanigans and being in love.
The entire video was commissioned and filmed in Montreal (which is also where the majority of the new album recording took place), and was directed by Louri Philippe Paille and shot by Christophe Collette.
Mika has been known for having very creative brightly colored music videos, and this is definitely a step in a good direction for his new album. As much as hipster culture is ridiculed, there is no denying that it looks like fun.
