Midas' 'Project Spark' is a new charitable initiative run by the automotive service chain that aims to help the more than 10 million American households that do not have a car. Partnering with 1-800-Charity Cars, a nonprofit organization that donates vehicles to struggling families, Midas' Project Spark provides repairs -- including parts and labor -- to all families that have received a car through this charity.
Project Spark has already launched in Philadelphia, where three families have received donated cars. Midas has also worked with The Martin Agency to create a series of campaign videos that tell the stories of these families and why they are so deserving of a car to call their own.
