There are two problems with the men’s boxer brief market -- designs haven't evolved since its inception 25 years ago and one pair of designer, microfiber boxer briefs costs more than a round of drinks. The team at All Citizens, based in New York City, set out to address this by creating a better, more modern pair at the accessible price of $15.
The team took a human-centered approach to their design process by aiming to address the common frustrations guys face every day: legs riding up and bunching, the constant need to "re-adjust," sweat, odor and itchiness. These all contribute to an uncomfortable experience.
After months of prototyping, the team created comfort-enhancing features that include grip elastic on the thigh to keep the underwear down, breathe zones (areas made with mesh) located where guys sweat the most (the lower back and under the crotch) and a thicker waistband that stays put and doesn’t roll.
The boxers briefs are made with a performance microfiber that is blended with spandex to move with you and provide greater mobility. Their microfiber is also moisturizing-wicking, quick-drying, anti-bacterial, breathable and luxuriously soft to make sure you feel comfortable and fresh all day.
