Lace underwear is traditionally not associated with men but is rather a staple of women's undergarments, but Japanese lingerie company Wacoal is looking to banish the stereotype with the advent of a line of lace underwear designed for men.
Wacoal's lace underwear for men uses a fortified type of lace that is designed to be more robust and stretchy than conventional lace. By boosting the ruggedness of the lace, Wacoal claims that the material is as strong as the company's regular men's boxers.
The lace however features unabashedly floral and elegant patterns, while its breathable nature helps to promote airflow. The underwear is available in blue, light blue, brown, black and red varieties in-store, with further color options available online.
