Reinvented Timeless Fashion

The Michael Kors Fall 2020 Collection Reworks Classic Pieces

In a time that's rife with fast fashion, the Michael Kors Fall/Winter 2020 ready-to-wear collection revisits timeless pieces in a fresh way that involves sustainability. Some of the styles that made their debut on the runway included chunky sweaters and coats with exaggerated proportions, as well as dresses with sequins made in part from recycled plastic bottles. Beyond clothing, Kors also kept sustainability in mind with the runway design, as the wood that set the scene for the show was donated afterward to NYC's reuse center Materials for the Arts.

While there are plenty of designs for Millennials to admire, one that's particularly nostalgic is the camel cape that nods to a similar style first sported by Naomi Campbell in Kors' Fall 1999 show.
