Sportswear giant Nike has revealed teaser images of its new 'Maimi Vice' Air Max '97 sneaker, revealing a fresh new take on the timeless silhouette.
As the name suggests, the new sneaker draws inspiration from the iconic 1980s TV series, Miami Vice. In particular, it leverages the show's iconic pink and green art deco logo. The shoe's entire color scheme is built around the vibrant logo incorporating an eye-catching turquoise and lavender rose along with the shoe's striped side panels.
In addition, the sneaker features two bands of 3M reflective gray material, a white mesh and leather upper and mid-section, and a white fabric loop along the heel with the lowercase "air max" tag. Meanwhile, the Nike swoosh on the tongue has been enclosed in a turquoise green leather tab, matching the shoe's side panels.
