French clothing brand Lacoste teamed up with Web3 development company Emperia to create a metaverse store that invites shoppers straight into the jaws of a virtual crocodile. Inside the space, virtual visitors are welcomed to explore pieces from the brand's latest collection like t-shirts, sweaters and accessories. To learn more about a product, consumers need only click on it so that a shoppable page pops up.
There are also other areas of the virtual metaverse store to discover, including an outside area featuring large displays with the brand's ad campaigns.
Throughout December, loot boxes will be dropped so that prizes can be collected and won. There's also a token-gated room that's only accessible to VIP customers in Lacoste’s Web3 community UNDW3 that hold an NFT.
