Hard Rock Cafe is paying homage to one of soccer's greatest players with the launch of its new Messi Chicken Sandwich.
Following a previous collaboration, Hard Rock Cafe is once again teaming up with global brand ambassador, Lionel Messi. Together, the pair have launched the new 'Made For You by Leo Messi' Messi Chicken Sandwich. The new sandwich is inspired by one of the star's favorite Argentinean dishes Milanesa, which is a variation on Austrian Wiener Schnitzel. The new sandwich starts with two thin, breaded, and fried meat cutlets (milanesa), topped with melted provolone cheese, herbed aioli, tomatoes, and arugula, all served on a toasted artisan bun. The sandwich also comes with seasoned fries on the side.
As Jim Allen, Chairman of Hard Rock International, said of the partnership in a recent press release, "We are extremely honored to partner with someone who embodies the champion and winning spirit in all facets of his professional and personal life, and we look forward to welcoming him to the U.S. as part of our extended Hard Rock family."
