Gwinnett County Public Schools is launching its own mobile app, School Lunch by Nutrisclice, which is designed to make it possible for parents to access details about breakfast and lunch menus in school.
The app offers daily menus with photos as well as nutrition and allergy info for elementary, middle and high schools. The app also stores the last three menus that you view, so that you don't have to rack your brain to figure out what your child ate three days ago.
Considering that current generation of young parents belong to the millennial generation, it goes without saying that they're very comfortable on their smartphone apps. The School Lunch app makes it possible for smartphone-toting parents to stay on top of their child's nutrition and food intake. This lunch menu app will be particularly useful to parents of children with specific health issues, nutritional needs or allergy problems.
