Mcdonald's Shambow Celebrates St. Patrick's Day in Chicago

It's not uncommon for brand's to celebrate St. Patrick's day, but McDonald's Shambow is taking the celebration to an entirely new level.

This year, the fast food brand partnered with the artist Andrew Shoben to create a whimsical green rainbow that's set to appear in Chicago over the Daley Plaza. Consumers visiting the end of this rainbow will be surprised to discover a McDonald's pop-up, which is giving away free Shamrock Shake's -- the brand's seasonal and minty drink offering. According to the Chief Creative Officer, Toygar Bazarkaya, "Like the Shamrock Shake, a rainbow is a symbol of happiness. And what better way to express that than with the Shambow—it’s almost like nature’s billboard."
