John McCain's latest ads compare Barack Obama to Britney Spears and Paris Hilton. Let me start by reacting appropriately: “Hahahahaahaha.â€
The Obama bashing commercial, set to air on Thursday, is titled 'Celeb'. The images switch back and forth between Obama and our favorite young, scandalous blond celebrities. Yah, that makes complete sense, for sure.
McCain's ad notes about Obama, “He's the biggest celebrity in the world, but is he ready to lead?â€
I've enclosed some related articles about Obama, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears for comparison. You'll note that they are all basically the same, for sure: ;)
BTW, McCain... Great strategy, except for one point, "AMERICAN'S LOVE CELEBRITIES!" But do they like them to lead? Well, the example of Arnold Schwarzenegger would scream, "YES!"
So lets recap the strategy:
1) Show video of how popular Obama is...
2) Associate him with the most popular American celebrities...
3) ... I dunno, something comes here, but you lost me at 2.
Obama, always replying in a clever way, replied, “He doesn't seem to have anything positive to say about me, does he? You need to ask John McCain what he's for, not just what he's against.â€
