Maureen My Ngoc may be a recent graduate from the London College of Fashion, but she is still making waves in the fashion industry with her sculptural jewelry designs. Making bold statements is the name of the game when it comes to her creations. Using origami techniques, Maureen My Ngoc fashions three-dimensional patterns that almost look like part of a clown costume. It so happens that her pieces are made out of paper as well. From neckpieces to cuffs and strange headpieces, the collection is filled with accessories for the experimental woman.
Photographed in black and white by Tho Vu, Maureen My Ngoc's collection adheres to her aim to "create works to wear for aesthetic purposes [as well] as a means of protection or armor for the body," according to Design Milk.
