Ground Zero is Blurring Lines Between Masculine and Feminine Design

Hong Kong-based streetwear brand Ground Zero is dedicated to reinterpreting the overtly expressed style of the "ordinary [fashion] wardrobe" and bridging the gap between what is collectively considered as masculine and feminine design. The Fall/Winter 2018, dubbed 'untitled ( ) individual," is the destabilization of contemporary beliefs and it is maintaining a steady course towards liberation with "compounds of sportswear, normcore graphics and unique styling quirks."

'untitled ( ) individual' is purposefully left ambiguous, in order for each person to built a narrative about contemporary street fashion that is comfortable. The separation between masculine and feminine design is thoughtfully breached by the introduction of contrasting elements— boxy and tailored cuts, motorcycle jackets and tight-fitting dresses, laced thigh-high stockings and rolled-up nylon overalls.

The Ground Zero Fall/Winter 2018 presentation is truly unisex.
