A new Marvel podcast has been announced, serving as the first scripted audio series for the comic book publisher. The series, titled 'Wolverine: The Long Night' follows two government agents as they investigate the murders occurring in the fictional town of Burns, Alaska. The prime suspect, is the burly, misunderstood loner, Logan.
The podcast has been described a "a captivating hybrid of mystery and the larger-scale fantasy of the Marvel Universe." Wolverine: The Long Night will feature a 10-episode season and star "Scott Adsit, Christopher Guest, Bob Balaban and Brian Stokes Mitchell of Mr. Robot," in addition to a few surprise celebrity guests.
The podcast's writer, Ben Percy, says the series will feature a tone similar to that of the True Detective television series and the podcast 'S-Town.'
